Review by hotel critic
At Melissa Wasi, nestled in the heart of the picturesque Sacred Valley, I recently spent a nice Christmas getaway with my wife and young daughter. The location is stunning, surrounded by amazing natural beauty-just what we were after for some quality family time. Each morning, we indulged in a good breakfast buffet featuring fresh cakes and croissants, with a colorful Peruvian twist that set the perfect tone for the day. Our spacious bungalow offered cozy comfort with goose feather pillows and a fireplace, making it the ideal spot to unwind after our outdoor adventures, like mountain biking and hiking. The garden views and access to the nearby Pisac country club made our stay even better, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local environment while still enjoying family-friendly amenities. What resonated with me as an environmental scientist was Melissa Wasi's commitment to sustainability-showcasing how eco-tourism can thrive amidst amazing landscapes. I can't wait to return to experience more of what this hidden gem has to offer!
